2. Scope and principles

This Privacy Policy governs how Avancy processes personal data when you visit avancy.ch, submit a contact enquiry, or engage with our consulting services (digital transformation, AI automation, cloud migration, IT services).

We apply the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Confidentiality is a core principle of every Avancy engagement — what you share with us stays with us.

3. Data we collect and why

Contact form enquiries: name, e-mail address, company name, subject and message. Used to respond to your enquiry and, if applicable, to prepare a consulting proposal or AI potential analysis. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / revDSG equivalent).

Consulting engagements: project-related information you provide during a mandate (process descriptions, business data, documents). Used solely to deliver the agreed services. Governed by the individual service agreement and strict confidentiality.

Server log data: IP address (anonymised after 7 days), browser type, referring URL, page visited, timestamp. Collected automatically for security and performance. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

No tracking cookies, advertising pixels or behavioural analytics are used on this website.

4. Third-party services on this website

Google Fonts: This site loads fonts from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com). Your browser sends your IP address to Google when fonts are requested. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Maps: The contact page embeds a Google Maps widget. Loading the map sends your IP address to Google. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Web3Forms: Contact form submissions are processed by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form service. Your name, e-mail and message are transmitted to Web3Forms servers to deliver your message to us. Web3Forms does not use your data for any other purpose. Their privacy policy is available at web3forms.com/privacy.

LinkedIn: The footer links to LinkedIn. Clicking the link takes you to LinkedIn's platform, where their own privacy policy applies.

5. Storage and retention

Contact enquiries: retained for up to 10 years in line with Swiss commercial law, then securely deleted.

Consulting project data: retained for the duration of the mandate plus 10 years, as required by Swiss law, then deleted or returned to you.

Server logs: anonymised after 7 days.

6. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Data is shared only with:

— Service processors (web hosting, Web3Forms) under data-processing agreements, solely to operate this website.

— Authorities or courts if required by law.

Consulting project information is never shared outside the engagement without your explicit consent.

7. Your rights

Under the revDSG (and GDPR where applicable) you have the right to:

— Access the personal data we hold about you.

— Request correction of inaccurate data.

— Request erasure of your data (subject to legal retention obligations).

— Restrict or object to processing.

— Receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@avancy.ch. We will respond within 30 days.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): edoeb.admin.ch.

8. Data security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or our services. The current version with its date is always published on this page. Material changes will be communicated proactively to active clients.
